Women's T20 Asia Cup 2022: Schedule announced for the tournament | CBTF News

The Women's Asia Cup has come back after a brief absence. The Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Bangladesh will host the 2022 Women's Asia Cup, which will take place from October 1 to October 15. This time around, there will be 7 teams participating in the T20 event. According to the latest cricket news, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Malaysia, UAE, and hosts Bangladesh are the nations participating in the upcoming Women's Asia Cup. 

Additionally, it is known that on September 27 and 28, all visiting teams are expected to make their way to Bangladesh. UAE and Malaysia, two of the seven teams scheduled to compete, have secured spots in the tournament through the qualifying process after reaching the final of the ten-team ACC Women's T20 Championship in June. UAE finished the tournament undefeated and in first place after defeating Malaysia's hosts by a margin of five wickets. 

Since Pakistan's trip to Bangladesh in October 2018, no women's international games have been played. In addition, Sylhet will host women's international matches for the first time since the 2014 T20 World Cup during the 2022 Asia Cup.
