With the Incredible Performance of Ellie Anderson, England Women U19 Won Super Six, Group 2 by 95 Runs The Super Six, Group 2 match of ICC Under 19 Women's T20 World Cup 2023 was held between England Women U19 and West Indies Women U19 on 25 January 2023 at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom. England Women U19 won the toss and opted to bat first. The match started with Grace Scrivens and Liberty Heap on the crease, and Jannillea from West Indies came to open the attack. Right from the start of the match, both the team were getting ready to put a tough competition against each other. Both the openers were playing great, trying hard to settle on the field, but at the end of the 6th over, Liberty Heap lost her wicket after scoring 13(16). In the powerplay, England W U19 successfully put 44 runs with a loss of a single wicket. In the 10 overs, Niamh Holland and Grace Scrivens hit some incredible boundaries with four and six and took the team to 79 runs with 1 wicket loss. However, Abini Jean dismissed Niamh Holland at the start of the 13th over and she was gone after 21(21). Grace Scrivens successfully hit her half-century in the 14th over but also lost her wicket in the same over. With this, the team has reached 125 runs with a loss of 3 wickets after 15 overs. Saren Smale and Charis Pavely of Team England W U19 finished the first inning with an incredible performance in the last 2 overs. England W U19 scored 163/4 in 20 overs and set a target of 164 runs against West Indies W U19. In the chase of the targeted score, Realanna Grimmond and Zaida James of West Indies W U19 came to the crease, and Ellie Anderson opened the attack. Both the openers were dismissed in the 1st and 2nd overs, respectively. Naijanni was also gone in the 4th over after scoring just 4(9). In the powerplay, West Indies WU19 could chase only 20 runs with a loss of 3 wickets. In the  10 overs, the team lost one more wicket of Zaida and reached 23/4. While trying hard to complete the targeted run score, Djenaba and Asabi took the West Indies to 61 runs in 15 overs. England W U19 ballers amazed the public with their incredible performance in batting and balling. Ellie Anderson credited 5 wickets to her account, and her mindblowing balling skills didn’t allow West Indies W U19 to chase the target of 164 runs.
