In 205 IPL matches, he scored 5528 runs with 1 century and 39 half-centuries. 


 He got dropped in 2018 from the white ball cricket and couldn’t return to the International side, and took retirement from international cricket in 2020.


 Suresh Raina didn’t play in the 2020 and 2022 IPL. Both years were very controversial for him. In 2020, Covid-19 happened and the IPL shifted to Dubai, but he didn’t play in the IPL and returned to his home. In 2021, he became part of the CSK squad and won the IPL trophy, but he became unsold in the mega auction in 2022.
