West Indies vs Ireland, 11th Match, Group B T20 World Cup Qualifier Preview

West Indies vs Ireland, 11th Match, Group B T20 World Cup Qualifier Preview The world is prepared to watch yet another exciting World Cup T20 match. On Friday, October 21, 2022, West Indies and Ireland are slated to meet at Bellerive Oval in Hobart in the World Cup T20 2022 match. West Indies have competed in two games, winning one and losing the other. Currently, they are in the third spot on the points chart. To have any hope of making it to the super 12, they must win this game. By easily defeating this opponent, West Indies can achieve this. Their net run rate can only be raised by a victory with a significant margin. Ireland's performance at the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 was also not particularly noteworthy. In addition, they prevailed in one of the two contests. They had one loss and were placed last in group B's points standings. They must also triumph in this game by a significant margin. In their previous match, West Indies had defeated Zimbabwe by a commanding margin of 31 runs. They chose to bat first after winning the toss. Their batting order performed admirably. In 20 overs, they scored 153 runs. J Charles, who scored 45 runs on 36 balls, was their most successful and highest-scoring player. The previous match was won by West Indies thanks to their bowling unit's greatest and most spectacular performance. The whole Zimbabwean team was sent back to the pavilion after 18.2 overs for a total of 122 runs as they successfully defended the 154-run goal. The bowler that nearly dismantled Zimbabwe's batting order was Alzarri Joseph. His four wickets in four overs for 16 runs made him their side's most productive and top wicket-taker. Jason Holder also had excellent bowling skills, picking up three wickets in 3.2 overs despite being charged with 12 runs. Odean Smith, Obed McCoy, and Akeal Hosein each claimed one wicket. Ireland enters this game fresh off of a commanding six-wicket victory against Scotland. They were instructed to field first after losing the toss. Their bowling team's performance was not particularly spectacular. In 20 overs, 176 runs were conceded. The most productive and highest run-scorer for their team was Curtis Campher, who took two wickets in two overs for just nine runs.  Simi Singh, Delany, Barry McCarthy, and Dockrell were the bowlers without a wicket, while Joshua Little and Mark Adair each took one. Ireland's batting order displayed exceptional performance in the previous game. In 19 overs, they completed the 177-run chase. Almost all of their batters managed to score some runs. With 72 runs on just 32 balls thanks to 7 boundaries and 2 enormous sixes, Curtis Campher was their most effective and highest run-scorer. He did not leave till the target was being pursued. The other player that contributed runs to the score was George Dockrell. During his inning, he hit one monster six, four boundaries, and scored 39 runs.
