West Indies vs India, 2nd ODI: West Kept Them Alive in the Series After Winning by 6 Wickets Against India

India and West Indies came against each other in the 2nd ODI of the series at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. West Indies won the toss and decided to bowl first.

 Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill came to bat and Mayers opened the bowling attack. In  the 2nd over, Shubman Gill hit a four on the first ball and it was the first boundary of the match. In the 4th over, Shubman Gill hit two fours. In the 8th over, Ishan Kishan hit back-to-back two fours. In the 11th over, Shubman Gill took a single on the third ball and India reached 50 runs. In the 17th over, Ishan Kishan took a single and scored a half-century and Shubman Gill got out after scoring 34(49) on the fifth ball. In the 18th over, Ishan Kishan hit a four on the first ball and got out after scoring 55(55) on the third ball. In the 20th over, Axar got out after scoring 1(8) on the second ball. After 20 overs, India was at 97-3.

 In the 21st over, India reached 100 runs. In the 24th over, Hardik Pandya got out after scoring 7(14) on the last ball. In the 25th over, Samson got out after scoring 9(19) on the first ball. In the 32th over, Jadeja got out after scoring 10(21) on the third ball. In the 33th over, Suryakumar Yadav got out after scoring 24(25) on the first ball. In the 34th over, Thakur hit a four on the first ball and India reached 150 runs. In the 38th over, Thakur got out after scoring 16(22) on the second ball. In the 41th over, Mukesh Kumar got out after scoring 6(7) on the fifth ball.

 In 40.5 overs, India got all out at 181 runs.

 Chasing 182 runs, Brandon King and Mayers came to bat and Hardik Pandya opened the bowling attack. In the 1st over, Mayers hit the four on the fourth ball and it was the first boundary of the second innings. In the 2nd over, Mayers started the over with back-to-back two fours. In the 8th over, Brandon King hit back-to-back two fours and he reached his 1000 runs milestone. In the 9th over, Mayers hit a six on the first ball and West Indies reached 50 runs and got out after scoring 36(28) on the second ball. Brandon King got out after scoring 15(23) on the fourth ball. After 10 overs, WI was at 64-2.

 In the 13th over, Athanaze got out after scoring 6(9) on the second ball. In the 17th over, Hetmyer got out after scoring 9(15) on the last ball. In the 22nd over, WI reached 100 runs. In the 33th over, Shai Hope took a double and scored a half-century. With this double, WI reached 150 runs. In the 37th over, Keacy Carty hit back-to-back two fours and WI chased the target. WI scored 182-4 and won the match by 6 wickets.
