West Indies tour of UAE, 2023: United Arab Emirates vs West Indies, 3rd ODI, Preview

In the last ODI match, West Indies won by 78 runs and named the series with one game remaining, giving the visitors yet another resounding victory. The game was well-set up by their openers, Brandon King and Johnson Charles, who were running quickly and at one point appeared to be close to finishing with 400 runs. However, UAE came back with the ball wonderfully and scored at vital moments. At the very end, Odean Smith hit several boundaries that helped their team surpass 300.

UAE found it difficult from the beginning of the run chase. They were losing wickets often, but once again, it was Ali Naseer who stood out, together with Basil Hameed, who formed some type of partnership to lessen the blow of the loss much more than it otherwise could have. Once more, West Indies bowlers adhered to their game plan and never let UAE hitters get on top of them, allowing them to get through. The ailing UAE squad is the target of West Indies' quest for a clean sweep and further agony.

Additionally, this ODI series has already been won by the West Indies, who have utterly dominated it. There is very little likelihood that the UAE will win this match between these two teams. So, tomorrow will see yet another high-scoring match between these two teams.

 Date & Time : Jun 09, 04:30 PM LOCAL, 6:00 PM IST

Venue : Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah

Pitch Report: The Sharjah pitch normally provides an even playing field for hitters and bowlers. Furthermore, early in the game, boundaries will be easy to hit. However, spinners will also rule the game in the second part of the innings, making it difficult for batsmen. Pacers will also receive some swing in the start of the match.
