The official record for the longest six in history is held by Australia's Brett Lee, who crossed the rope by 130-135 meters. Brett Lee was awarded this record against West Indies in a 2005 test match at Gabba. Facing Daren Powell, Brett Lee sent the ball over the roof of the stands and into the practice net outside the stadium. The ball traveled nearly 135 meters. The six is considered to be the biggest six at Gabba, which is one of the biggest grounds in the world.
