Royal Challengers Bangalore has played several innings and won but there is one that has made its name in this list because of the close encounter between the top batsman and captain of RCB, Virat Kohli and the best bowler of DD, Arun Jaitely in 2013. 

In this fabulous match Virat just narrowly missed out his century by one run. Batsmen like David Warner didn't even manage to put up a fight against DD's bowlers therefore, Kohli came forward and took 99 runs in just 58 balls. Before making his first three figure mark in the game he got runout but still he managed to take his team to the winning and defeated Delhi Daredevils by 183 runs with 4 wickets. 

Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Gujarat Lions (2016)

In the ninth edition of the Indian Premier League, there was a moment that made 2016 a memorable edition for Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Till now, Kohli had already made four centuries under his name and was considered one of the best captains in the IPL. This match was held at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot. Virat had made his century in just 63 balls while his opening partner batsman (Shane Watson) lost his wicket in just 6 runs. T20 cricket league in front of his home crowd. In the opening inning KL Rahul partnered with one and only Virat Kohli in which Virat showed his techniques and scored 108 runs in just 58 balls with a strike rate of 186.21 which defeated RPS with 7 wickets in hand and won the match. 

A Century with Hand Injury in 2016 RCB vs KXIP Match

IPL™s ninth edition has seen drastic centuries by Virat Kohli in 4 different matches; one of those matches was with Kings XI Punjab. Match was shortened to 15 overs because of the rain that time, and Kohli had a hand injury but still he was able to secure 113 runs off 50 balls with his universe boss Chris Gayle. This score made them win by 82 runs against the opposition.

In 2019, RCB played against KKR on their home ground. This game had faced one of the best knocks till that day by the king, Virat Kohli. He has scored his 5th century in this Indian Premier League. Against the renowned bowlers Narine, Russell, and Kuldeep, Virat scored 100 off 58 balls with a strike rate of 172.41. The team won by a narrow margin of 10 runs.
