The Ashes, 2023, England vs Australia, 4th Test, Day 3: Batters Helped England take a Massive Lead

At the end of day 2, ENG was at 384-4, and Harry Brook and Ben Stokes were playing 14(41) and 24(37), respectively.

 At the start of day 3, both the batter resumed batting and Josh Hazlewood started the bowling. In the 75th over, Stokes hit a four on the second ball and England reached 400 runs. In the 78th over, Harry Brook hit back-to-back two fours and finished the over with a four. In the 82nd over, Stokes took a single on the last ball and scored a half-century. In the 84th over, Stokes got out after scoring 51(74) on the first ball. In the 86th over, Harry Brook took a single on the fifth ball and scored a half-century. In the 92nd over, Harry Brook got out after scoring 61(100) on the last ball. In the 93rd over, Bairstow started the over with a four and finished the over with a four. In the 94th over, Woakes got out for a duck on the first ball. In the 96th over, Bairstow started the over with back-to-back two fours, took a double on the third ball and England reached 500 runs. Mark Wood hit a four on the fifth ball and got out after scoring 6(8) on the last ball. After the end of session 1, ENG was at 506-8

 In the 100th over, Broad got out after scoring 7(10) on the third ball. In the 101st over, Bairstow hit a six on the first ball, scored a half-century, and finished the over with a four. In the 102nd over, Bairstow hit two fours. In the 104th over, Bairstow hit a six on the third ball and England reached 550 runs. In the 105th over, Bairstow hammered back-to-back two fours. In the 107th over, Bairstow hit two fours. In the 108th over, Anderson got out after scoring 5(18) on the fourth wicket and England got out at 592 runs and took a lead of 275 runs.

 Khawaja and Warner came to bat and Anderson opened the bowling attack. In the 10th over, Warner smashed two fours. In the 11th over, Khawaja got out after scoring 18(34) on the second ball and Labuschagne finished the over with a four. After the end of session 2, Australia was at 39-1. In the 17th over, Australia reached 50 runs. In the 18th over, Warner hit a four on the second ball and got out after scoring 28(53) on the fifth ball. In the 33rd over, Smith got out after scoring 17(38) on the third ball. In the 35th over,  Labuschagne hit a four and Australia reached 100 runs. In the 37th over, Head got out after scoring 1(7) on the first ball.

 After the end of day 3, Australia was at 113-4, Mitchell Marsh and Marnus Labuschagne 44(88) and 1(27), respectively.
