The batter resumed the batting and Chris Woakes started the bowling attack. In the 50th over, Mitchell Marsh hit a four on the third ball and got out after scoring 28(52) on the fifth ball. In the 54th over, Carey hit a four on the third ball and got out after scoring 5(14) on the fifth ball. In the 57th over, Australia reached 150 runs. In the 59th over, Starc got out after scoring 16(19) on the fourth ball. In the 61th over, Cummins got out after scoring 1(8) on the second ball and Murphy hit two fours. In the 62th over, Travis Head smashed two fours. In the 63th over, Travis Head smashed two fours. In the 64th over, Australia reached 200 runs. In the 66th over, Murphy got out after scoring 11(10) on the fifth ball. In the 67th over, Head smashed back-to-back two sixes. In the 68th over, Head got out after scoring 77(112) on the first ball. It was the last wicket of Australia. Kangaroos posted 224 runs on the scoreboard.

At the end of day 3, England was at 27-0, Ben Duckett 18(19) and Zak Crawley 9(11) were playing.
