What's New in IPL 2025?

  • Updated Player Retention Regulations: Teams are now permitted to keep up to six players, which includes two uncapped players and a maximum of five capped players.
     
  • Salary Cap Increase: A purse of ₹120 crore has been given to each franchise for strategic team-building.
     
  • Extended Match Schedule: The home-and-away schedule will be followed in 74 matches.
