Saud Shakeel scored a double hundred and was also the highest run-scorer followed by Agha Salman. R Mendis took a fifer, followed by Prabath Jayasuriya, and Rajitha and Vishwa Fernando shared one wicket each. Pakistan took a lead of 149 runs.
Sri Lanka batted in the 2nd innings and got all out at 279 runs. They got a good start as the first wicket fell at 42 runs. The Sri Lankan batter couldnt convert the great start into the big one and only two batters scored a half-century. Dhananjaya de Silva is the highest run-scorer with 82 runs, followed by Nishan Madushka with 52 runs, and R Mendis with 42 runs. Noman Ali and Abrar Ahmed are the highest wicket-takers with three wickets, followed by Agha Salman and Shaheen Afridi with two wickets. They took a lead of 130 runs.
Pakistan came to chase 131 runs and chased the target with a loss of 6 wickets and won the match by 6 wickets. Imam-ul-Haq scored a half-century, followed by Saud Shakeel with 30 runs, and Babar Azam with 24 runs. Prabath Jayasuriya took 4 wickets and Ramesh Mendis took one.
