Sri Lanka Tour of India, 2023: India vs Sri Lanka, 2nd T20I Preview

India and Sri Lanka will come against each other for the 2nd match of T20I. Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium is the host for this match. In the opening match of T20I, it was a nail-biting competition where India took the lead. Captained under Hardik Pandya, India squad registered their win by 2 run margins and the 3rd victory in T20Is. 

In the last over, Sri Lanka needed 13 runs to win but Axar Patel’s spell favored Chamika as he got a six and the target was reduced to just 5 runs. 

However, he took a heave of sigh when India won the match. 

Previously, Patel was involved in the run-association with Hooda for 68 runs and scored 41 runs in 23 balls. Moreover, he got the player the match title as well. 

Shivam Mavi showed great spells and it led him to become 3rd Indian bowler, followed by Barinder Sran and Pragyan Ojha to take 4-wicket haul on T20I debut. 

So far, Sri Lanka has lost 11 T20Is continuously against India in their home soil since 2016 and might make a comeback
