ICC Under 19 Womens T20 World Cup 2023: South Africa Women Defeated United Arab Emirates Women by 45 Runs  The teams, South Africa and United Arab Emirates Women came against each other at Willowmoore Park, Benoni. UAE women won the toss and opted to bowl first. Elandri Rensburg and Simone Lourens opened the batting attack on the opening bowling of Mahika Gaur. In the 3rd over, Rensburg bought the first two boundaries of the innings and the side got a score of 13. In the 6th over, Rensburg lost her wicket to Nandakumar and the score shifted to 36-1. After 9 overs, South Africa women crossed the half-century with a score of 53-3. Scoring 27 runs in 29 balls, Lourens lost her wicket to Keny. After 13 overs, the SA jumped to a score of 70-5. In 20 overs, South Africa women posted a score of 112 with a loss of 7 wickets. Chasing the target of 113, Theertha Satish and Lavanya Keny came to open the batting attack on the opening bowling of Jemma Botha. In the first over, Keny bought the first four for the side. In the next over, Satish lost her wicket to Botha and the side got a score of 9-1 after 3 overs. Scoring 11 in 17 balls, Keny lost his wicket to Hlubi. After 9 overs, UAE women got a score of 39-4 and the side crossed the half-century with a score of 52-7 after 12 overs. In 17 overs, UAE women got bowled out, scoring 67 runs and lost the match to South Africa women by 45 runs.
