Saint Lucia Kings vs Guyana Amazon Warriors, 4th Match Called Off Due to Rain

Caribbean Premier League 2023: Saint Lucia Kings vs Guyana Amazon Warriors, 4th Match Called Off Due to Rain

The 4th match of Caribbean Premier League 2023 played between Saint Lucia Kings and Guyana Amazon Warriors got washed away by rain. After winning the toss, SLK opted to bowl first. The rains returned as soon as the final ball of the 5th over was bowled. It seemed impossible to avoid the rain tonight.

As they leave the field, Azam Khan and Saim Ayub covered their bats inside their shirts. Covers were brought on the field and it was heavily raining. The Kings needed 59 off 5 overs (DLS Adjusted) if the rain stopped. However, that didn't happen. The grounds crew gave it their all and did their best, but alas the rain had the last word.

Each team earns a point. Guyana scored 56 runs in the five overs they were given as they threw everything they had at the ball. This came after a protracted weather delay that first necessitated a 10-over game and then, after 5 balls had been bowled, another break that forced a 5-over game. Even that, however, was not feasible, and the match referee called off the match. Stay tuned with us for more CPL 2023 live score, CPL 2023 updates, and cricket Samachar!
