Pakistan Stirred South Africa Getting a Victory of 33 Runs

At Sydney Cricket Ground, the captains of both teams came up to the crease and Pakistan won the toss. They chose to bat first for the 


PAK vs SA match. 


 Rizwan and Babar opened the batting attack on the opening bowling attack of  Parnell. What a wonderful start by Rizwan who smashed the first boundary of the innings but got a shocking dismissal in the next ball. The right-handed batter took the batting charge. 


 With him on side, Mohammad Haris clouted back to back sixes and a four on a throw from Rabada and got a score of 21 after 2 overs with a loss of 1 wicket. Fueling 28 off 11, Haris lost his wicket to Nortje.


 Struggling to get going, Azam left the pitch early on the delivery from Ngidi and then the right-handed batter Iftikhar Ahmed came to the middle. Losing more wickets in the frequent throws, Pak batters had a hard time to settle for great innings and they reached the mark of half-century, standing at a score of 50-4 after 8 overs. 


 In the 10th over, Ahmed thumped two fours, projecting up the hopes of the Pakistani fans on the pavilion and the side reached at score of 68-4 after 10 overs. In the alternate over, Nawaz hit the ball hard for two boundaries on the over from Ngidi. Adding 28 runs in 22 balls, Nawaz lost his wicket to Shamsi. 


 A great six in the 14th over by Iftikhar Ahmed, led Pakistan team to go up for a century with a score of 105 after 14 overs with a loss of 5 wickets. 


 Iftikhar Ahmed and Shadab Khan gave a powerful performance and crunched long sixes and boundaries, meanwhile Khan got to his 50-runstand up. Both the batters helped Pak to go up on the scoreboard with 148 runs after 17 overs with a loss of 5 wickets. 


 With Nortje on the bowling attack, Shadab Khan got caught out to Tristan Stubbs, adding a score of 52 in 22 balls. Another shock for Pakistan as Iftikhar Ahmed also got dismissed on a throw from Rabada, scalping out a score of 51 in 35 balls. 


 In 20 overs, Pakistan created a score of 185 with the loss of 9 wickets. 


 To chase down the target of 186 runs, Bavuma and de Kock came up for the batting strike with Shaheen Afridi on the bowling crease. 


 South African batters made a poor start and de Kock lost his wicket in the first over only. Rossouw came up with his bat and thumped the first six and Bavuma smashed a boundary and got a score of 15 after 2 overs, losing one wicket. 


 Rossouw couldn’t stand tough against Pak pacers and got an early dismissal from Afridi, bringing just 7 runs in 6 balls. The 4th over from Rauf favored the SA batters as Markram and Bavuma smacked four boundaries, 2 each, getting up to score of 36-2 after 4 overs.


 The powerful partnership of Bavuma and Markram helped their team to cross the half-century, reaching at a score of 65-2 after 7 overs. Soon after, Markram lost his wicket to Shadab Khan, scoring 20 in 14 balls. 


 South African batters managed to score 69-4 after 9 overs but rain interrupted their game and the players had to wait for long to jump to the conclusion. 


 The second innings was reduced to 14 overs with a run chase target of 142 runs, from the 


latest cricket updates. Despite the intervention of rain, the South African batters stood tough as Stubbs and Klaasen smacked a boundary in the immediate and brought two fours in the next over, Klaasen lost his wicket to Afridi. 


 With Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje on the pitch, South Africa crossed the century and got up to a score of 101 after 13 overs with a loss of 7 wickets.
