The second match of the T20I tri-series was played between New Zealand and Pakistan at 

Hagley Oval in Christchurch. It would be interesting to see how the likes of Trent Boult and Tim Southee bowl against Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. Pakistan won their opening game of the tri-series as they defeated Bangladesh at the same venue on Friday. 

 New Zealand skipper 

Kane Williamson won the toss and opted to bat against Pakistan. The inning has started. Finn Allen and Conway were at the crease, and Haris Rauf opened the attack. New Zealand lost opener Finn Allen early. He left after scoring only 13 runs in 2.2 overs. The team 

scored 35 runs during the powerplay with the loss of 1 wicket.

 The

 61-run stand between 

Kane Williamson and Devon Conway came to an end in the 11th over as Mohammad Nawaz dismissed Devon Conway. Pakistan got another strong wicket from Kane Williamson in 12.6 overs. Mohammad Nawaz bowled him out, and he left his inning after making a good score of 31 runs in 30 balls.

 Devon Conway and Mark Chapman played knocks of 36 and 32, respectively, and 

New Zealand posted 147/8 in 20 overs against Pakistan in the 2nd game of the ongoing tri-series.

 The second inning started after a short break. Rizwan and Babar Azam were at the crease. Boult opened the attack. New Zealand took the biggest wicket of Rizwan in the 5th ball of the 

4th over. Southee got the breakthrough. Pakistan scored 

36 runs during the powerplay with the loss of 1 biggest wicket of Rizwan.

 Pakistan has lost their

 2nd wicket of Masood just after Rizwan at the start of the 6th over with no run. Babar Azam successfully hit his half-century in 10.3 overs. The 

90-run stand between 

Babar and Shadab ended in the 13th over as Tickner dismissed Shadab Khan. 

 After an opening stand of 36 runs, it seemed like Pakistan lost their way in a chase of 148 after losing the wickets of Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood in quick succession. However, at the end of the inning, Babar Azam hit boundary after boundary and took the victory on account of Pakistan. 

Pakitan won the match by 6 wickets. 

 Two in two for Pakistan - in consecutive days as well. Yesterday, Rizwan anchored the innings and played a match-winning knock. Tonight it's the turn of Babar Azam to do the same. He scored unbeaten 79 runs and became the man of the match.
