New Zealand won the

This win was denoted as a comfortable win for New Zealand, and with this win, they have confirmed their place in Friday's final against Pakistan. To chase a 209 run target, Bangladesh had only one big inning from skipper Shakid scored 70, and the other just did not kick on.  Das and Sarkar scored 23 but fell at the wrong moment, and New Zealand won with effective bowling and fielding. Shakib did his best, but the goal was always too lofty. Bangladesh again failed to offer adequate assistance to their skipper, who fought valiantly against a formidable foe.  Both teams changed their playing XI squad during

 New Zealand vs Bangladesh T20. New Zealand replaced Martin Guptill, Adam Milne, and Trent Boult with Kane Williamson, Blair Tickner, and Mitchell Santner. While on the other side, Bangladesh replaced Soumya Sarkar, Mohammad Saifuddin, and Ebadot Hossain with Mehidy Hasan, Taskin Ahmed, and Hasan Mahmud.

 Bangladesh won the toss and invited New Zealand to bat first. The first inning started with Finn Alle and Conway at the crease, and Saifuddin opened the attack.  Finn Allen hit the first boundary of the inning with a four in the first over, which was an authoritative stroke.

 After hitting some boundaries, Alley was caught out by Yasir Ali in the 5th over. That was a needed breakthrough for Bangladesh. Alley was gone after scoring 32(19). New Zealand scored a remarkable 47 with 1 wicket lost during the powerplay.

 Conway was at his pace and hit his 6th T20I fifty in the 11th over. The 84 runs partnership of Conway and Martin was ended when Ebadot Hossain dismissed Martin with a 143.3kph full toss ball. Martin was gone after scoring 30 successful runs in 25 balls. Guptill looked tentative initially, but he hit a few boundaries and lifted his strike rate above 100. 

 Bangladesh dismissed the giant wicket of Conway in the 17th over. Saifuddin threw a shortish ball. Conway pulled it hard but hit it flat and straight to the deep square leg. Shanto didn't have to move much, and he juggled a bit before holding onto the successful catch.

 Saifuddin took two back-to-back wickets in the 17th over. Chapman was also gone after scoring only 2 runs in his inning. However, Glenn Phillips hit a four in the fourth ball of the 19th over to credit a successful half-century in his account. The 25-year-old took little time to get off the blocks and hit boundaries for fun as he got to his half-ton off just 19 deliveries. 

 After losing one more wicket, New Zealand finished on 208. Bangladesh ought to win this to stay alive in this tri-series, which will be a herculean task for them.

 The second inning started with Shanto and Litton Das at the crease, and Boult opened the attack. Litton Das hit the first four of the inning in the 2nd over. The first success for New Zealand came in the 4th over. Milne bowled Shanto with a full, fast, and straight ball. Shanto was gone after 11(12). Bangladesh scored 43/1 during the power play. 

 M Bracewell took a vital wicket of Litton Das in the 6th over. Litton was gone after scoring 23(16). Skipper Shakib came into the crease and tried hard to chase the target with 70 run score but could not do so as Bangladesh failed to provide enough support to their captain, who fought gamely against a big target. Bangladesh lost 5 more wickets of Soumya Sarkar 23(17), Afif Hossain 4(3), Nurul Hasan 2(6), and Yasir Ali 6(6) during their innings. Bangladesh lost the
