New Zealand Tour of India, 2023: India vs New Zealand, 3rd ODI Preview

In the ODI clash between India and Australia, India is leading the series with 2-0 so far. In the first match, India won by 12 runs and in the 2nd match, India thrashed New Zealand by 8 wickets. 

 With Ireland and New Zealand coming against each other in the 2nd ODI, India won the toss and chose to bowl first. New Zealand batters were on the pitch and posted 108 runs on the scoreboard, where Glenn Phillips fueled 36 runs for the side. 

 Mohammad Shami dismissed 3 NZ batters with Washington Sundar and Pandya picked 2 wickets for India. 

 To chase down the target, India smoothly surpassed the target in the 21st over only; Rohit Sharma and Gill paired up to smash 51 runs and 40 runs respectively. Henry Shipley and Mitchell Santner dismissed 2 Indian batters, one each.  

 The last ODI match between both squads will decide whether India will get a whitewash win or Kiwis will put in their efforts to win the last match.
