At Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele, Jaffna Kings and Kandy Falcons squared off against each other. Kandy Falcons won the toss and opted to bat first.

Nissanka and Fletcher came to the crease with Perera on the bowling attack. Getting runs barely in the first two overs, Fletcher bought the first six and first three boundaries of the innings, getting a score of 26 after 3 overs. 

Waqar dismissed the first batter, Nissanka from KD, restricting him at 15 off 20. With Fletcher being powerful for the side, the side reached the half-century, with a score of 50-1 after 7 overs. Fletcher kept smacking beautiful fours and lost his wicket after scoring 35 in 22 balls. 

After 11 overs, the side jumped to a score of 68-4. In the 16th over, Fabian crunched two sixes and a four, reaching a score of 111-6. In the 18th over, Allen bought two sixes and he lost his wicket to Madushanka after scoring 47 in 23 balls. 

In 20 overs, KDF posted 160 runs at a loss of 8 wickets. 

For the chase of 161, Gurbaz and Avishka Fernando came to the middle to witness the bowling of Udana. In the 4th ball only, Gurbaz lost his wicket and the right-handed batter, Dhananjaya de Silva took the batting charge. 

In the 3rd over, Fernando smacked two boundaries and the side got a score of 15-2. On the throw from Karunaratne, Fernando drilled three boundaries and a six. 

After 6 overs, the side reached the half-century with a score of 50-2. Scoring 33 off 20, Fernando got a dismissal from Fabian Allen. After 11 overs, the side jumped to a score of 80-3. 

Fueling 48 runs in 41 balls, Samarawickrama lost his wicket to Hasaranga, meanwhile, JKS crossed the century with a score of 107-7 after 15 overs. 

Altogether, JKS scored 150 with a loss of 9 wickets. Kandy Falcons won the match by 10 runs.
