Jordan Cox was dismissed at 1(3), putting additional pressure on the upcoming batters. After 6 overs, Dambulla Aura scored 44 runs and lost 5 wickets. Things were not going right as Dambulla kept losing wickets in almost every over. After 11 overs, the score was 82-8 and Kandy Falcons were in a dominating position.
