Unsold players may also get a second chance in another accelerated phase based on franchise requests.

Each team has a total purse of ₹120 crore, though some of this has already been spent on retained players. Punjab Kings have the largest remaining purse at ₹110.5 crore, while Rajasthan Royals have the smallest at ₹41 crore.
