In the 1st innings of India, Rishabh Pant fueled 93 runs in 105 balls and missed out on his century for the sixth time. India took the lead of 87 runs with their gameplay in the first innings. The captain of Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan, took 4 wickets which was one of the most impressive spells in the innings.

After tea break, India paced down and lost 6 wickets while adding 90 runs, Shakib had his share of dismissing 4 wickets. Taijul Islam took 1 wicket in the figures, 4/74. After playing 78.3 overs, the Men in Blue added 295 runs.

In the opening session, India lost 3 wickets and Taskin Ahmed dismissed Kohli, restricting him at a score of 24. On the 1st day of the 2nd test, India restricted Bangladesh to a score of 227 runs.

On day 2 of the 2nd test session, India players couldn’t show their potential in the start and managed to 314 runs with a loss of 10 wickets. Bangladesh got to score 7 runs in their 2nd innings. Bangladesh trail by 80 runs.
