India vs Bangladesh, 1st Test, Day 2: Kuldeep-Siraj Steal the Show; Bangladesh in Trouble

On the first day of the test match, India ended the innings with 278 runs at a loss of 6 wickets at stumps. Iyer and Pujara were the heroes on the opening day of the match. 

On the 2nd day of the test match at Chattogram, India dominated on the pitch with both batting and bowling. Initially, they posted 404 runs on the scoreboard and then took 8 wickets of the Bangladesh squad. Bangladesh team is on the verge of a follow on the 3rd day of the test match. 

At the crease, Ashwin and Yadav paired up for a crucial partnership of 55 runs that helped India to get nearer to the mark of 350 runs. Prior to lunch break, India fueled 70 more and the batters stood tough to get 348 runs with a loss of 7 wickets. After the lunch break, Ashwin and Yadav geared up to help India register 404 runs on the scoreboard. 

With India such a huge score on the board, the pressure shifted to the host nation, Bangladesh. To begin their innings for the run chase and got a dismissal on the first ball only. 

Indian seamer, Mohammad Siraj, dismissed 3 wickets of the Bangladeshi batters while Yadav dismissed 1. It led the side to step back and lack in the chase. 

Spinners took the remaining wickets of the Bangladeshi batters. The delivery from Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel flipped the table on BAN completely. 

However, Kuldeep was the only one having wickets. He dismissed 4 wickets on the 2nd day. At the end of the day, Bangladesh jumped to a score of 133 runs at the loss of 8 wickets.
