India vs Australia, 3rd ODI, Preview

In the second game of the three-match series at Indore, India defeated Australia to record another resounding victory. With this triumph, India not only took a commanding 2-0 lead but also wrapped up the series with one game remaining. On Tuesday in the last ODI at Rajkot, the hosts will try to win all three matches, while the Australians will try to maintain their honor and end the series strongly.

Australia suffered their fifth straight loss in this format and will need to reflect before the final ODI. The only encouraging score for the visitors came from Sean Abbott's quick-fire 54.

India would be happy that the batters got some playing time and made the most of it; Iyer and Gill scored a century. Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin's spin combo struck simultaneously. Axar Patel is probably going to be left off, therefore Ashwin will try to build on his impressive performance to make the World Cup roster.

In the third game, Australia will need to perform better both with the bat and the ball. Their performance showed that they were without players like Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Glenn Maxwell. Before switching to the T20Is, the action now shifts to Rajkot.
