India Tour of West Indies| India vs West Indies 4th T20 International Match Preview

Expectations were exceeded by the T20I series between India and the West Indies. Cricket fans have enjoyed watching both teams play at their highest level and in some interesting matches. The hosts are now up 2-1 in the series. The side captained by Rovman Powell won the first two games, but India came back to win the third game and extend the series.

India must become accustomed to the high-scoring environments in Florida, which is anticipated to host games at the T20 World Cup next year, and determine whether the selected group of young players has what it takes to succeed even though they aren't necessarily favorites. Suryakumar Yadav, India's T20 batting lynchpin, made an impression on the series after going wicketless in the first two games.

On the other hand, Tilak Varma has defied expectations to establish himself as a talent with a very high ceiling. In fact, after three games, there are rumblings that he might be an unexpected selection for the ODI World Cup team. The reason is straightforward for West Indies. They have a chance to win their first rubber against India, in any format, of two or more games, and a series, since 2016.

The two-time T20 World Cup champions will also achieve their first back-to-back series victories in the competition since 2017.If nothing else, that should help them recover from some of the recent shattering disappointments and get back on track for next year's world cup.

Pitch Report: Florida has an overcast morning with a very slim possibility of precipitation. Just over a year earlier, the same two teams played in a T20I at the same location. They defended 191 and 188 with relative ease in the two games during India's visit to this country in 2022. In fact, in these 13 games, teams who bat first have won 11 of them.
