India tour of Bangladesh, 2022 - Bangladesh vs India, 1st ODI Preview

India is all set to square off against Bangladesh for the 3-match ODI series. Previously, in the ODI series against New Zealand, India lost the series as rain interrupted their gameplay. Now, they’ll hope to get a win over the hosts as it will be the preparation for the One Day Internationals (ODI) World Cup 2023.

Both the teams will gear up to face off for

Ind vs Ban and they have confirmed their qualification for the ODI 2023 World Cup.

This year, Shikhar Dhawan from the India team has scored maximum runs, 670 in 19 matches that includes 6 half-centuries. In the queue, Shreyas Iyer is the next, 615 runs in 12 innings played at an average of 61.50. Shubham Gill who bought 638 runs in ODI is not included in the squad.

From the

latest cricket updates, in the bowling side, the teams will miss Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Deepak Chahar and Kuldeep Sen, while Shahbaz Ahmed, Washington Sundar and Axar Patel will form the spin attack. Surprisingly, India's top wicket-taker in ODIs this year, Yuzvendra Chahal is not in the team while he could be a great option on Bangladesh's turning pitches.
