With a powerful knock of SKY, smacking 111 runs single-handedly, India scored a huge 191 runs in the 2nd T20I of Ind vs NZ on the grounds of Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. For the run chase of 192, Finn Allen and Conway came to the crease on the opening  bowling attack of Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Bhuvi shocked NZ with the first dismissal of the NZ team, taking the wicket of Finn and Kane Williamson took the batting charge, who bought the first boundary for the side. NZ got a score of 11 after 2 overs with a loss of 1 wicket. In the 5th over, Conway joined the fun and hit a boundary on a throw from Bhuvneshwar, getting up to a score of 25 after 5 overs with a loss of 1 wicket. Till the 7th over, Williamson and Conwaty pitched up the game and a six and two fours respectively shifting the score up to 49-1 after 7 overs. The beautiful run-association of Williamson and Conway led NZ to cross half-century, with a score of 56-1 after 8 overs. Fueling 25 runs in 22 balls, Conway lost his wicket to Sundar. Right after taking the bat up on the hands, Glenn Phillips tossed up and drifted the ball for a four and nailed a long sweep for a six in the same over from Chahal. Chahal restricted Phillips to a score of 12 in 6 balls. After 10 overs, NZ reached a score of 71, losing 3 wickets. Hooda and Chahal kept their bowling tight in the next two overs and didn’t let the NZ batters get the big shots and the team shifted their score to 85-3 after 12 overs. With Williamson standing tough for the team, NZ jumped to a score of 88-4 after 13 overs. Chahal took another wicket of Neesham and didn’t let him score even a single run. On a delivery from Arshdeep, Williamson bought a boundary, helping the team get up to a score of 98-5 after 15 overs. In the 17th over from Arshdeep, Milne crunched a six that led NZ to cross century, standing at a score 111-6. Fueling 61 runs in 52 balls, Williamson lost his wicket to Siraj. Deepak Hooda bowled the 19th over, and took 3 wickets for India, ending NZ’s sloppy innings at 126 in 18.5 overs.
