According to the latest cricket updates, for the prestigious tournament, India is gearing up for the league that will commence from October 16 to November 13 in 2022.

In the Asia Cup 2022, India gave a poor show and failed to make to the finals. This may fire up the men in blue to perform better in the T20 World Cup. The T20 World Cup will start with the qualifier round. Theupcoming matches will be played on the grounds of Australia and India will lock horns against their arch-rivals for the opening match against Pakistan on October 23. Out of the eight teams, India has already qualified for the Super 12 round.

The Men in blue will be part of the tournament in the Group 2 stage in T20 World Cup. There are two groups in the tournament as Group 1 & Group 2. Two teams will join the group later apart from the existing teams.

During the super 12 round, each participating team will play one match against other teams of the group. Hence, each team will get to play a total of 5 matches in the group stage.

The top two scoring teams in the points table after the group stage would qualify for semi-finals. The top two winning teams in the finals will face off against each other in the final match.
