The match between Sri Lanka Women U19 and Bangladesh Women U19 was played at Willowmoore Park B Field, Benoni. Sri Lankan captain Vishmi Gunaratne won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Afia Humaira Anam and Rany Saha came to the crease, and Pamoda Shaini opened the bowling attack. Afia opened the boundary account on the 1.1 overs. In 3rd over, Afia smashed the two fours and reached her team to 24. Once again, Afia hit the first six of the match on the Vihara Sewwandi. Afia continued smashing and hit the two fours and one six and reached his team to 50 with a six. After 6 overs, BANW U19 was 52-0. Afia scored the half-century in 41 balls, and she reached it with a six.

Chasing 166 runs, Nethmi Senarathne and Sumudu Nisansala came to the crease, and Marufa Akter took over the ball. SLW U19 team’s runs and boundary account opened with a four by a bye. Marufa Akter provided the first wicket to her team by sending Nethmi Senarathne to the pavilion. Vishmi Gunaratne hit the first six in 1.6 overs. After 3 over, SLW U19 was 18-1. Sumudu Nisansala got bowled by Disha Biswas in the 4th over. SLW U19 was at 33-2 after 6 overs.
The second over of Reya Akter was expensive and gave away 13 runs. Once again, Renya took over 18 runs in the 10th over, and Vishmi Gunaratne hit one four and reached her team to 50 runs. Dewmi Vihanga hit one six and one four in the same over. After 10 overs, SLW U19 was 66-2.
Dewmi Vihanga hit back-to-back boundaries on the Rany Saha in the 14th over. The 15th over of Bangladesh was expensive, and Disha Biswas gave away 16 runs including two fours and one six. After 15 overs, SLW U19 was 108-2. Sri Lanka required 38 runs in the last two overs. Vishmi Gunaratne reached the half-century in the 19th over of the match. Sri Lanka required 28 runs in the last over, but they scored only 17 runs in the last overs. The side scored 155/4 and lost the match by 10 runs.
