ICC Cricket World Cup 2023: Pakistan vs Netherlands, Preview

Pakistan is set to face Netherlands in the second match of the World Cup 2023 at Hyderabad. Babar Azam & co. has done well in the warm matches, as they crossed 300-plus runs in both the matches. On the other hand, Netherlands both matches washed out due to the rain and came with inadequate performance. Moreover, Netherlands has never won any match against Pakistan in World Cup history.

Pakistan has the one of the strongest combination, such as Fakhar Zaman and Imam-Ul-Haq at top, Babar Azam at three, and Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Iftikhar Ahmed, Shadab Khan, and Mohammad Nawaz in the middle and lower order has strengthened the team.

However, the absence of Naseem Shah has weakened the Indian bowling attack but the pace trio Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Hasan Ali will try to provide the breakthrough. Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz are expected to strengthen the bowling attack.

Netherlands has put in some excellent performances to qualify for the World Cup 2023. Vikramjit Singh, Max O'Dowd, Teja Nidamanuru, and Bas De Leede will try to give their team a great start. Bas De Leede, Ryan Klein, and Paul Van Meekeren will take care of the fast bowling department and Shariz Ahmed, Aryan Dutt and Roelof van der Merwe will take responsibility of spin department.
