ICC Cricket World Cup 2023: England vs New Zealand, Preview

The fever of the World Cup will take off at Ahmedabad between the previous year finalist, England vs New Zealand. In the past few years, Narendra Modi stadium has hosted the big tournaments and the biggest stadium will start the hype of the World Cup.

When both the teams faced each other in the ICC World Cup, fans went crazy, or even players were unaware what was happening. The final match between them ended in a tie and the match went to super over but super over also went to tie. However, winners were decided on the boundary count and England lifted their first ever World Cup.

The past encounter between them is still remembered for multiple things, change in direction of ball due to Stokes bat, Boult catch turned into six, as his feet touch the rope. Neesham hitting in the super over, Martin Guptil ran out and many. However, after too much drama, England lifted the World Cup.

The New Zealand team is looking balanced but captain Kane is not available for this match and it can hurt them. England is also a well balanced team and the battle is worth watching.
