As per the latest cricket news, ICC has announced the prize money for the winning team. This year the winning team will take home an INR 13 crores. This year the T20 World Cup will happen in Australia.

The winning and runner-up both receive prize money from ICC. If we calculate the amount in dollars, it will be $1.6 million. ICC made this announcement through a tweet. 

Through the tweet, ICC made clear how much the winning team, runner-up in the final or semifinal, will receive. The team losing the finals will receive $0.8 million, and the semifinals will receive $0.4 million. Teams that win and get eliminated in the first round will get an amount of 32 lakh rupees, and the one who will exit Super 12 will receive an amount of INR 57 lakh rupees.
