List ofFlop Bowlers in IPL 2023 

Kagiso Rabada

He is a South African cricketer and was the team player of the Punjab Kings this year. This South African sensation took seven wickets at an average of 33.14 and a strike rate of 10.08 in six matches. He missed many matches and his fitness remained in question. 

Anrich Nortje (DC)

He is the compatriot of Kagiso Rabada. He is also on the list of flop bowlers as he failed miserably as he just picked 10 wickets in as many matches at an average of 36.40 and a strike rate of 9.10.

Umran Malik (SRH)

He played so well in the IPL season 2022 and failed to reproduce the same in season 2023 and this was the latest IPL update news. He played five matches and took five wickets at an average of 43.40 and maintained an economy rate of 43.40.

Jorfra Archer (MI)

He is one of the most expensive players of Mumbai Indians but injuries got stuck with him. He was not able to give anything in return for the second consecutive to his team. He just took two wickets at an average of 95 and an economy rate of 9.50.

Washington Sundar (SRH)

Due to injury, this Sunrisers Hyderabad spinner was not able to display the desired performance and got eliminated during the tournament. He played seven matches and picked three wickets at an average of 48.66 and an economy rate of 8.26. 

Kuldeep Yadav (DC)

The Delhi Capital spinner took the highest number of wickets in the preceding season and was not able to display the same performance in the 2023 season. He played each of DC's 14 league matches but could pick only 10 wickets at an average of 36.10 and an economy rate of 7.36. 

Sandeep Sharma (RR)

The pacer of Rajasthan Royals put a no-ball and the following six on the final delivery of the match against SRH cost his team a berth in the playoffs. Overall, he played 12 matches and picked 10 wickets with an average of 39.60 and maintained an economy rate of 8.60.

Wanindu Hasaranga (RCB)

Being one of the biggest names in T20 cricket, he could pick only nine wickets from eight matches at an average of 28.66 and an economy rate of 8.89 

Avesh Khan (LSG)

He was not able to display the desired performance in IPL season 2023. He played in nine matches and picked eight wickets at an average of 35.36 and an economy rate of 9.75.

Rahul Chahar (PBKS)

He played not well this season for Punjab Kings, this tweaker could pick up only eight wickets in 14 matches at an average of 48.12 and an economy rate of 7.75

Hrithik Shokeen (MI)

This young spinner made headlines during an on-field spat with Nitish Rana. He played eight matches for Mumbai Indians and saw him pick three wickets at an average of 62.33 and an economy rate of 9.84.
