FIFA World Cup 2022 - Uruguay and South Korea Clash Resulted in 0-0

In the Group H World Cup opener, Uruguay scored two goals as they couldn’t get the third win in the World Cup in three matches against South Korea.

In the 4th World Cup match, the veteran defender, Diego Godin hit a header against the base of the goal post from one corner before the half-time but a beautiful strike from Federico Vaverde powered his team.

Hwang Ui-jo missed a glorious opportunity for South Korea in their 10th consecutive appearances in the finals when he fired over the bar from nearer in the 34th minute.

Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez stopped the efforts as none of the side could get any official shot on the given target which became a World Cup record. All the scenarios added a 4th match that ended in a draw with zero goals, after only one in 64 in 2019.

Uruguay will clash against Portugal in their next match while South Korea will encounter Ghana on the same day.
