FIFA World Cup 2022: Keysher Fuller's goal gives CRC a 1-0 Win Against Japan

After losing 0-7 to Spain in their opener, Costa Rica bounced back with a 1-0 victory over Japan in their Group E FIFA World Cup 2022 match on Sunday at the Ahmed bin Ali Stadium in Qatar.

 

 It was a cagey affair, with Japan taking an early lead as the game entered halftime with a score of 0-0. Costa Rica continued to disrupt Japan's build-up in the second half, gradually crept into the game, and finally took a shocking lead in the 81st minute, with Keysher Fuller scoring. Costa Rica ascended to the third position in Group E, ahead of Germany, following the victory. Meanwhile, Spain is in first place, with Japan in second.
