Ervine and Raza Powered Zimbabwe to Convincingly Beat Scotland by 5 Wickets; Zimbabwe in Super 12’s On the grounds of Bellerive, Oval, Hobart, for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, the captains came up for the toss where Scotland won the toss and opted to bat first. Munsey and Michael Jones opened the batting attack on the pitch to witness the bowling of Chatara. In the first over, Jones smashed the first the boundary of the innings and lost his wicket to Chatara. After 2 overs, the side stood at a score of 11-1 after 2 overs.  Scotland kept losing their wickets and apart from Munsey, who scored 54 off 51 balls, none of the Scotland batter could even cross the 30+ mark. The Scotland batters struggled throughout the first innings while Zimbabwean bowler kept their bowling tight. The spinners complimented the trio of pacers in the match. Zimbabwe showcased good bowling and fielding effort to restrain Scotland at a meager score of 132 in 20 overs at a loss of 6 wickets. For the run chase of 133, Chakbava and Ervine opened the batting on a throw from Wheal. In the first five overs, Scotland made a wonderful start, picking wickets in the first two overs and scored 30-2 after 6 overs. After successful 10 overs, Zim scored crossed half-century, standing at a score of 55-3 after 10 overs. Raza and Ervine rescued the side with a crucial partnership, scoring 40 and 58 respectively.
