England Triumphed as Buttler & Hales Made New Zealand to Slip In the Points Table

Getting a good start, Buttler and Hales opened the batting to face the bowling of Boult and Hales cracked s streaky fours in the first two overs only and got a score of 16 after 2 overs. Buttler smacked three boundaries in the 13th over and helped his team cross century, standing at a score of 108 after 13 overs with loss of just 1 wicket. Buttler reached his 18th T20I half-century. They were playing with their maximum potential and he got another two boundaries in the 15th over, moving the score up to 125-2 after 15 overs. Scoring 20 off 14, Livingstone lost his wicket to Ferguson. Adding a huge run score of 73 in 47 balls, Buttler got run out on a throw from Southee. The collective efforts of the England team managed to score 179 in 20 overs with a loss of 6 wickets. For the run chase of 180 runs, Finn Allen and Conway came to the crease to face the bowling of Moeen Ali. Like England started off great, NZ had a poor start and lost their first wicket of Conway to Woakes and they got a score of just 14 after 3 overs with a loss of 1 wicket. Finn Allen played a great shot to get the first six of the innings of NZ while Williamson smacked a boundary. Finn got a dismissal from Sam Curran, scoring just 16 off 11 and NZ stood at a score of 28-2 after 5 overs. With Kane Williamson and Glenn Phillips on the pitch, they managed to cross half-century and got to a score of 53-2 after 8 overs. Glenn reached his 50, crunching back-to-back sixes in the 14th over, crossing the century and reached a score of 113-2 after 14 overs. Fueling 40 runs in 40 balls, Williamson got out to Stokes.
