Once again, William O Donnell smashed two sixes in the 6th over and took their team to 69-1. In the 7th over, William O Donnell's entertaining innings came to an end after scoring 39 runs in 19 balls as he lost his wicket to Randell. After 10 overs, Auckland was at 94-3. Randell was brought back to the attack in the 13th over and bowl and expensive overs, including two sixes. Cole Briggs lost his wicket to Jayden Lennox after scoring a half-century in 32 balls.
