Caribbean Premier League 2023: Trinbago Become the Table Topper After a 7 Wickets Win Over Jamaica Tallawahs Trinbago Knight Riders and Jamaica Tallawahs came against each other in the 22nd match of the CPL at Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba, Trinidad. Trinbago Knight Riders won the toss and decided to bowl first. Brandon King and Jangoo came to bat and Carmichael opened the bowling attack. In the 3rd over, Brandon King started the over with a six and got out after scoring 8(7) on the third ball. In the 6th over, Jangoo got out after scoring 13(16) on the fifth ball. After 6 overs, JT was at 29-2.   

 

In the 10th over, JT reached 50 runs on the fourth ball and Shamarh Brooks got out after scoring 9(10) on the fifth ball. In the 13th over, Imad Wasim smashed back-to-back two boundaries. In the 14th over, Imad Wasim hit a four on the second ball and Blackwood got out after scoring 29(35) on the fourth ball. In the 15th over, Imad Wasim hit a four on the fourth ball and JT reached 100 runs. After 15 overs, JT was at 102-4.   In the 16th over, Imad Wasim started the over with a six and Fabian Allen hit a four on the fourth ball. In the 17th over, Imad Wasim finished the over with back-to-back two fours. 

 

In the 18th over,  Imad Wasim hit a six on the second ball and Fabian Allen got out after scoring 14(11) on the fourth ball. In 20 overs, Imad Wasim got out after scoring 62(33) on the second ball, Chris Green got out after scoring 4(5) on the fourth ball, and Amir ran out after scoring 5(2) on the last ball.   In 20 overs, Jamaica Tallawahs scored 154 runs with a loss of 8 wickets.   Chasing 155 runs, Guptill and Narine came to bat and Amir opened the bowling attack. In the 1st over, Guptill started the over with a four and Narine finished the over with a four. 

 

In the 2nd over, Narine smashed back-to-back two boundaries and got out after scoring 15(6) on the fifth ball. In the 5th over, Guptill started the over with a four and Pooran finished the over with a four. After 6 overs, TKR was at 47-1.   In the  8th over, Pooran hit back-to-back two boundaries. In the 9th over, Pooran hit a four and six on the second and fifth ball, respectively and the partnership between Nicholas Pooran and Martin Guptill reached 50 runs. In the 12th over, Nicholas Pooran took a single on the last ball and scored a half-century. 

 

In the 13th over, Pooran started the over with a four and got out after scoring 54(35) on the second ball. In the 15th over, Pollard got out after scoring 6(7) on the first ball. After 15 overs, TKR was at 116-3.   In the 16th over, Guptill smashed three boundaries and scored a half-century. In the 17th over, Russell hammered three sixes and TKR reached 150 runs. In the 18th over, Guptill took a single on the second ball and chased the target. Trinbago Knight Riders scored 155-3 and won the match by 7 wickets.
