St Kitts and Nevis Patriots & Guyana Amazon Warriors came against each other in the 8th match CPL 2023 at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts. St Kitts and Nevis Patriots won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Saim Ayub and C Hemraj came to bat and Cottrell opened the bowling attack. In the 1st over, C Hemraj got out for a duck on the last ball. In the 2nd over, Saim Ayub hammered a six on the third ball and it was the first boundary of the match. In the 3rd over, Saim Ayub started the over with a six and smashed two more four in the over. In the 5th over, Saim Ayub started the over with a four and got out after scoring 31(17) on the second ball. Azam Khan came to bat and started with a four on the third ball and Shai Hope finished the over with a six. In the 20th over, Keemo Paul got out after scoring 25(18) on the first ball, Odean Smith hit a four on the second ball and Shepherd finished the over with a four.

Chasing 198 runs, Fletcher and Lewis came to bat and Pretorius opened the bowling. In the 2nd over, Lewis started the over with a four and Fletcher got out after scoring 1(5) on the third ball. In the 5th over, Joshua Da Silva got out after scoring 10(10) on the third ball, Rayudu came to bat and started with a four. After 6 overs, SNP was at 37-2.
In the 7th over, Rayudu hit a six on the third ball and Lewis finished the over with a six. With this six, SNP reached 50 runs. In the 8th over, Lewis smashed back-to-back two sixes and finished the over with a six. In the 9th over, Lewis hammered a six on the second ball and got out after scoring 48(24) on the third ball. In the 10th over, Rutherford got out after scoring 3(4) on the third ball. In the 12th over, Drakes smashed a six on the second ball and SNP reached 100 runs. SNP got all out at 132 and lost the match by 65 runs.
