Barbados Royals and Saint Lucia Kings came against each other in the 16th match of the CPL at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. Barbados Royals won the toss and decided to bowl first.
Munro and Charles came to bat and Mayers opened the bowling attack. In the 2nd over, Munro started the over with a four and it was the first boundary of the match and Charles finished the over with a six. In the 3rd over, Munro hit two fours. In the 4th over, Charles smashed back-to-back two sixes. In the 5th over, Charles hit two fours and SLK reached 50 runs on the fifth ball. In the 6th over, Munro started the over with a four and finished the over with a four. After 6 overs, SLK was at 69-0.

Chasing 196 runs, Cornwall and Mayers came to bat and Forde opened the bowling attack. In the 1st over, Mayers got out for a duck on the third ball. In the 3rd over, Cornwall smashed three boundaries. In the 4th over, Cornwall got out after scoring 18(14) on the third ball and Laurie Evans got out for a duck. In the 6th over, Powell got out after scoring 5(6) on the second ball and Athanaze got out after scoring 4(11) on the fifth ball. After 6 overs, BR was at 40-5.
In the 8th over, BR reached 50 runs. In the 11th over, Holder started the over with a six and Nyeem Young hammered a six on the fourth ball. In the 12th over, Holder got out after scoring 18(11) on the first ball. In the 14th over, Rivaldo Clarke got out after scoring 4(13) on the fourth ball. In the 16th over, Nyeem Young got out after scoring 20(31) on the third ball and Qais Ahmad finished the over with a six. In the 17th over, BR reached 100 runs and van der Merwe got out after scoring 11(11) on the last ball. In the 18th over, Obed McCoy hit a four on the second ball and got out after scoring 4(2) on the third ball. Barbados Royals got all out at 105 runs and lost the match by 90 runs.
