To start the 

AUS vs AFG match at Adelaide Oval stadium, the captains of both teams came up to the crease where Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bowl first. 

 Warner and Green were on the crease with Fazalhaq Farooqi on the bowling strike. Warner bought the first boundary of the innings in the first over. Wow, what a powerful start, Warner crunched three boundaries in the 2nd over and reached at a score of 22 after 2 overs. 

 Fazalhaq Farooqi took the first wicket of Green, letting him take 3 runs in 2 balls. Then, the right handed batter, Mitchell Marsh took the batting charge. Marsh hit his first four in the over from Naveen-ul-Haq and immediately smacked six, moving the score up to 47 after 5 overs with a loss of 1 wicket. 

 Scoring 25 in 18 balls, Warner lost his wicket to Naveen-ul-Haq. With Marsh showing his efforts on pitch, he helped his team to cross the half-century with a score of 52-3 after 6 overs. 

 The beautiful power hits by Marsh for fours and sixes, led them to get 16 runs off 9th over and jumped to a score of 78 after 9 overs, losing 3 wickets. Posing the team to a significant strength with a score of 45 in 30 balls, Marsh got out on a throw from Mujeeb. 

 A boundary from Maxwell and a six from Stoinis led the Australian squad to cross the century with a score of 102 with a loss of 4 wickets after 12 overs. 

 After 18 overs, Australia reached at a score of 155-6 after 18 overs where Maxwell stood tall, reaching his 50 in 29 balls in the last over.

 The Australian batters posted a score of 168 in 20 overs with a loss of 8 wickets. 

 For the run chase of 169, Gurbaz and Usman Ghani opened their batting on a throw from Hazlewood.

 Gurbaz started off great smacking a four and six in the first over and reached a score of 15 after 2 overs. Hazlewood took the first wicket of Ghani in the 3rd over. 

 Gurbaz bought the first six for Afghan and a four in the consecutive over, moving the score up to 29 after 4 wickets with a loss of 1 wicket. Fueling 30 runs in 17 balls, Gurbaz got caught out to Warner on a throw from K Richardson. 

 With Gulbadin Naib and Ibrahim Zadran on field, the side crossed the half-century with a score of 50-2 after 7 overs. Zadran and Naib paired up for some good partnership and helped their team cross the century. Getting a score of 26 in 33 runs, Zadran lost his wicket to Zampa. 

 After 15 overs, Afghanistan batters successfully crossed the century while standing at a score of 106-6 after 15 overs. 

 With Darwish and Rashid Khan on pitch, Afghanis jumped to a score of 112-6 after 16 overs. In the 18th over, khan bought two back-to-back sixes on the bowling over from K Richardson.

AFG vs AUS match, Australia took the lead by defeating Afghanistan by 4 runs, restricting them at a score of 164 in 20 overs losing 7 wickets.
