Asia Cup, 2023: Pakistan vs India, Preview

The third match between Pakistan and India , one of the biggest rivals of world cricket, will face each other in the Asia Cup. Fans eagerly wait for the clash between them. Pakistan had a great start in the Asia Cup 2023 and they thrashed Nepal in the opening match by 238 runs. On the other hand, India didn't have a great time on the field recently, except Ireland.

In the first match Pakistan posted 342 runs on the scoreboard and their batter did an amazing job. Openers returned to the pavilion very early but Babar Azam and Rizwan made a partnership for the third wicket. Banar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed scored a century. Shadab Khan was the highest wicket-taker with 4 wickets, followed by Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi who shared 2 wickets each and Naseem Shah & Mohammad Nawaz shared one wicket each.

Recently, India has lost their momentum and one of the key factors is that they didn't have the luxury to play their full-strength squad. This time India's key players are making a comeback after an injury, unfortunately, KL Rahul is still recovering from an injury and likely to miss the first few games. Virat Kohli has been in great form after gaining his form and once again, he will be a key player to watch. This squad is a mixture of experience and youngsters: Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Tilak Varma, Ishan Kishan, and others.

Moreover, Indian bowling units are no lesser than batting units. Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Siraj and others bowlers will make situations challenging for opposition.
